Dancing Colors

We call our theme and motif Dancing Colors - a combination of Dance and Colorful, well, colors - hehe!

It is no secret from our families and friends that Mr. Pea and I both love to dance. So having a Dance themed wedding is kinda expected. As to the Colorful part - well, let me just say that's the first time that my inner bridezilla showed and really (I mean really!) annoyed Mr. Pea, hehe! 

At first, I don't care for a themed wedding. I mean, nung unang panahon naman walang ganun di ba, simple lang lahat. So I was just contented with having PINK (but of course) as our motif and that's it. 

Then my friend (who happened to be a wedding coordinator) suggested a whimsical / ethereal themed wedding and I was like "yeah, that's very nice!". And I thought it really suits my personality - given how much I love fairy tales - and having a whimsical / ethereal themed wedding will give me an excuse to act all princess-y during our wedding (arte lang haha!). But then again, ako lang ang happy nun, kasi si Mr. Pea parang wala lang sa kanya - I mean, ang tagal ko nga inexplain ung idea ng theme na ito eh, di nya magets (eh kasi sa mga lalake naman wala sila masyado alam sa kaartehan di ba hehe!). 

So balik kami ulit sa PINK.

And then, I noticed that having a vintage wedding is really "in" right now. Dami may ganitong theme lately. So may bago na akong gusto: vintage. I searched for ideas na sa net and I'm really loving it as days pass by. But then again (again?), si Mr. Pea. Ano na naman daw ba itong gusto ko? Mega explain na naman ang lola mo syempre. Ok sa kanya, approved! Happy days.

And then (last na talaga promise), I thought about a Colorful themed wedding. Not the Rainbow type naman ha, basta more than 2 colors ang motif (we've decided on pink - yey! - lavender and yellow).  Naisip ko lang kasi na mas ok sa amin ang theme na ito, mas nagre-reflect sa personalities namin. And parang hindi bagay i-partner sa vintage ung dance concept hehe. Mr. Pea also loved the dance and colorful idea - and dami nya agad suggestions (from having a candy corner to colorful centerpieces to colorful invitations to dance videos to dance numbers - which natatawa na ako, naiisip ko pa lang). Ang saya! And finally, I knew in my heart na this is it na.
